Current Volunteer Opportunities
Help with Food Crisis
United Way of Morgan County is partnering with our agencies—the Committee on Church Cooperation (CCC) and The Salvation Army—to respond to the growing food crisis in our community. The CCC urgently needs volunteers Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., to help sort, bag, and distribute food to families in need. The number of people seeking assistance has drastically increased, and they can’t keep up without community support. Click the link below to sign up.
Turkey Trot
Help guide runners, hand out water and snacks, and cheer them on! This is a fun, energetic way to give back before your holiday meal!
Presidential Service Volunteer Award (PSVA)
United Way of Morgan County is proud to recognize outstanding volunteers through the Presidential Service Volunteer Award. This nationally recognized program honors individuals who achieve significant levels of service over 12 months.
Day of Caring
Our annual Day of Caring takes place each September, bringing together individuals, schools, and corporate teams to complete hands-on projects for local partner agencies. Projects range from building wheelchair ramps and cleaning to landscaping and painting.
